ARBOL_procesos creativos vivos

An interdisciplinary program on education and artistic creation for staging work from an experimental approach in Medellín

ARBOL_procesos creativos vivos is a program on education and artistic work, aiming to develop professional impact in the city of Medellín and broaden interdisciplinary collaborations as an essential method in the performing arts. We depart from an experimental view on art, reflecting on the body in relation to movement, space, time and the social and ecological enviroment. Our approach relies on searching for the content that lies inside every creation and its implications in terms of a staging work.
ARBOL is an independent project directed by Mercedes Pedroche and Brenda Isabel Steinecke Soto. The project is born from the reflections motivated by the experiences, the concerns and trajectories of its promoters. Having a diverse professional background, they share a common vision on artistic creation, the pedagogic processes therefore needed and the inquiry on our nature as human beings.
